The Mapping and Assessment (M&A) Report Repository is a searchable collection of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) needs assessments, mappings, and desk reviews that have been conducted in humanitarian settings.

Why is this repository needed?

  • Knowing what information already exists in a specific setting is an important first step when planning a new needs and resources assessment or mapping exercise (see Multi-sectoral MHPSS Assessment Toolkit). This also prevents duplication of resources and efforts.

  • Existing information from assessments, mappings and desk reviews can support a variety of stakeholders including NGOs, CBOs, UN agencies, government service providers and authorities etc, to make informed programming decisions to meet MHPSS needs and build on available resources.

Assessments within the repository are diverse and multi-sectoral in line with the MHPSS MSP, underscoring the importance of multi-sectoral interventions to meet the range of needs of affected populations. The resources in the registry can be searched by sector or AoRs, ensuring that users can quickly find relevant materials to guide their work and context.

How can I add MHPSS assessments, mappings or desk reviews to this repository that are not included yet?

Do make sure to include a brief description of the document, including its title, purpose, and any relevant details that will help us understand its content and relevance.
